Welcome to The Mount of Moon
The Moon and Me
Hello and Welcome!
I am so happy that you’ve decided to join me on what I guarantee will be an incredible journey of self-discovery and personal empowerment that will transform your life for the better. How can I be so certain? Because over the next 10 weeks you will learn to master the energy of the Moon, one of the most powerful forces in the universe.
In Vedic tradition, the Moon represents the power of perception, which determines how we view ourselves and the world around us. When our Moon energy is properly channeled, we are at peace with who we are and our life is a joyful adventure; we can see the beauty in the world without being overwhelmed by the struggles, obstacles and negativity we encounter in our daily lives and on the nightly news.

Vedic palmistry teaches us that the area of the hand that reflects our Moon energy—the Mount of Luna—is not only the gateway to our mind, imagination and creativity, but the source of everything that makes us truly loving human beings: nurturing kindness, empathy and compassion. By tapping into the best of our Luna, we are tapping into the best of ourselves. I know this as a fact because it happened to me nearly 40 years ago and changed my life forever.
Now, some of you have known me for years, either as a friend or a client, or as both! Others have gotten to know me through my memoir, The Happy Palmist: My Joyful Adventure in Vedic Palmistry , which I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing! For those of you I am now meeting for the first time, please allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Guylaine Vallée and I grew up in a small town in rural Quebec, the youngest kid in a large and loving working-class family. Like a lot of young people, however, I lacked purpose and direction in life. Most teenagers grow out of this—I didn’t. I carried around a pretty constant depression throughout my teens, and my lack of purpose haunted me well into my twenties. Despite a supportive and caring family, getting a good education and finding a great job working in television production in Paris, I was never happy and always felt something was missing. I can honestly say, there was very little joy in my life. Frankly, I often perceived the world as a cold, unkind and sometimes frightening place. I had transformed from a happy young girl into a moody young woman, and my moodiness only seemed to be getting worse.

Then one day in the mid-1980s the universe directed me to the Birla Center in Montreal, where I had a consultation with the center’s founder, Vedic palmist extraordinaire, Ghanshyam Singh Birla. Well, as they say, the rest is history. This remarkable man’s warmth and knowledge changed the course of my life, and in just one session I learned more about myself than I had in my quarter-century on the planet!
Perhaps the most important lesson I learned during that first consultation with Ghanshyam was that the Moon relates to our perception and, although I had a strong Mount of Luna, my destiny line was fragmented. That meant I lacked a proper channel to express my Luna-related imagination in a healthy, happy and creative way. Because of that, all my Moon energy had become bottled up in my mind, cutting me off from others, leaving me feeling lost and alone. What’s worse, my dark moods were starting to affect others and robbing me of hope for the future. In my consultation, Ghanshyam stressed the importance of finding a purpose and an outlet for all my untapped creative energy. Following Ghanshyam’s method, which is the basis of this program, I was able to change the way I thought about myself, the way I looked at the world and the way I lived—it put me on the path to hope and happiness.
This course is all about consciousness and the manner in which we perceive. We are about to take a deep dive into the Mount of Luna and learn how to use the power of our mind—the power of perception—to get the very best from our Moon energy. We will examine all of the factors that can lead us to misuse or squander Luna’s creative power and learn practical steps to overcome such obstacles to our happiness and peace of mind. Like me, once you’ve learned to express your Moon energy positively, you will perceive more clearly and communicate your thoughts and emotions more freely. I will share with you everything I’ve learned during my four decades as a practicing astro-palmist as well as all the knowledge I’ve gleaned over the many years I’ve spent studying Vedic palmistry and philosophy with Ghanshyam.
Exercises and Quizzes to Enhance Your Moon
Each week of the course will center on a particular theme that needs to be fully understood and embraced in order to move forward in understanding our Moon. These themes are not merely concepts or ideas—they are fundamental principles that we can live by. To help you in this process, I will conclude each week with a quiz and several recommendations, be it a specific thought, exercise or affirmation that will allow you to incorporate the themes into your daily lives—so you won’t just be learning about perception, you’ll be living it. I will be right there with you each week via my weekly video to discuss every theme.
Don’t Forget to Take Your Handprints!

Okay, time to take the plunge! If you have yet to do so, I encourage you to take your handprints now using one of the acetates we have provided for you in the Luna course. These will be your “Before handprints”, which you will revisit when we complete the course. At the end of the course, you will take your “After handprints” with the second acetate in your kit. These two sets of handprints show how far you have come and how much positive change you have made in your life during the course!
If you don’t have your Do-It-Yourself Handprint Kit, click here to order it. Make sure to watch the video: How to Take Your Handprints by clicking here.
The Importance of Journaling
We encourage you to keep a journal during the course. Once you have taken your “Before handprints”, I want you to write down the reasons you are taking this course and what you hope to achieve from it. Indeed, I urge you to take full advantage of your journal every week. The words you jot down over the duration of this course will be a lasting record of this great adventure that you can refer to again and again in the years to come. Your journal will be an intimate and personal reminder of how far you’ve come, act as a compass pointing to where you want to go and may one day serve as an inspiration to someone you care about who can benefit from your experience.
Your First Journal Entry
As your first assignment, answer these questions:
• Do I ever misperceive the words, actions or motives of others?
• Am I ever unsure about my own motives and actions?
• When my opinion is challenged, do I sometimes lash out with an emotional defense instead of responding with calmness, objectivity and a willingness to learn?
• Do I ever think that others are out to get me, even when I know it is not the case?
• Am I often too shy or lack the energy to participate in social events?
• Do I sometimes have difficulty expressing my emotions and ideas?
Okay, if you’ve finished your first journal entry and are clear on what you want to achieve over the next ten weeks, you are ready to travel to the Mount of Moon and change your life forever!
