LESSON 1

In this lesson, we journey around the mounts of the hand, exploring how each one influences the Sun and impacts our awareness and spiritual evolution.

All about Sun
We explore the role of the Sun as the first mount and finger in the “transpersonal world” of the hand; as the doorway to the heart chakra; the regulator of the air element; our link to chitta, the feeling faculty of consciousness; the catalyst that transforms knowledge (gyana) into virtue (guna); and as the coordinator of our sense of touch with the motor organ of the hands and the sensory organ of the skin.

The Three Levels of Development
The Sun symbolizes creativity, charisma, success, fame, artistic talent, and a vibrant zest for life. When balanced, it activates the best within us; when imbalanced, it can lead to emotional turbulence. This lesson offers an in-depth exploration of the Sun’s three levels of development—balanced, overactive, and underactive —along with practical recommendations for restoring balance.
LESSON 4
The Nine Variations in the Development of the Sun Mount and Finger
The superconscious Sun mount represents a deep reservoir of psychic energy, character traits, and unconscious drives, while the Sun finger reflects how we consciously express those energies. The Sun finger brings the unmanifest potential of the mount into the realm of conscious behavior and interaction. In this lesson, we explore the nine possible variations in the development of the Sun mount and finger.

We will examine cases where action (motor) is guided by wisdom, and where perception (sensory) is guided by strength and courage.

We explore the significance of activity on the Sun mount and finger, learning how the presence of wisdom signs and lines of obstruction can greatly influence the interpretation of Sun energy.
